Sayre Baptist Church is a place for the whole family. From children and teenagers to young adults, families, singles, and senior adults, there is a place for everyone to grow through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God.

I would personally like to invite you to be our guest at Sayre Baptist Church, where every visitor is an honored guest. You can expect a warm and friendly welcome, the opportunity to meet new friends, traditional worship, and faithful preaching and teaching from the Word of God.

We realize that visiting a new church can sometimes feel a little intimidating! Here’s a short description of what you can expect when you visit Sayre Baptist Church on Sunday morning.

We believe that our weekly gathering is for the purpose of worshiping God, so our Sunday morning worship service is centered on Him. We read the Bible and pray throughout the service. We sing songs that express our praise and thanksgiving to God for who He is and what He has done for us. Our music is traditional, meaning we sing hymns from the hymn book, typically led by a song leader and accompanied by the piano.

There is also a time for us to greet one another warmly and welcome new people. For those who wish to give, offering boxes are available at the front of the sanctuary and on the Welcome Table. Tithes and offerings help support the work of the local church and missions. Our pastor will preach from the King James Bible to instruct, encourage, and challenge us in our faith.

Once each quarter, on the first Sunday of the month, we also observe the Lord’s Supper together.

We love children! A nursery is available for children ages 0–3. We also provide Children’s Church during the sermon for parents who would like their children to participate. In addition, we provide family devotional resources to help dads and moms disciple their children at home.

Our Sunday morning service typically lasts about 60–90 minutes.
